Mission Statement of the Hispanic Society

The Hispanic Society of New York Police Department was founded in 1957

• To promote and develop a friendly and fraternal spirit among all members of Hispanic descent in the police department
• To create a more harmonious relationship between the department and those whom we serve, the people of the City of New York
• To promote full discussion and exchange of all ideas regarding the planning and conduct of such aims
• To disseminate the significant results of all these efforts and activities
• To improve the methods and activities
